Gavin leads the Product Design and Research teams at Skyscanner, focussing on how great design can positively impact on operations, strategy and commercial partnerships to deliver the company's current and future vision and deliver awesome experiences. Before joining Skyscanner Gavin spent time at agencies both big and small, went ‘client side’ twice and ran two agencies he helped set up, one specialising in industrial design and one in experience design.

Martyn Reding

HEAD OF USER EXPERIENCE - VIRGIN ATLANTIC

Martyn is Head of UX at Virgin Atlantic. Before he went ‘client side’ he worked in agencies with a range of brands including Penguin, BBC, Microsoft and IKEA. Martyn’s background has been in creating design strategies and building design teams. Along the way he’s been lucky enough to pick up a few awards, present to his peers and learn from some exceptionally bright individuals. But he’s not done yet… One day he will design the perfect car experience. He also harbours an ambition to re-shape the way design is taught, but not before he’s created a digital product to aid beach cleaning.

HEAD OF PRODUCT & LEAD UX DESIGNER - ON THE BEACH

Coming from a Mobile Ecommerce and UX focused background, over the last 5 years Jenna has been instrumental in moving On the Beach towards Product and UX focused agile development. Jenna champions a data-driven approach within the business by working closely with analytics, stakeholders and executives. Jenna is joined by James, who has lead the User Experience team at On the Beach since February 2017. In that time, the team have championed and adopted the Design Thinking process across the business (not just in design) and the way new projects are approached and delivered.

Greg Tariff

SENIOR MANAGER OF PRODUCT DESIGN - GROUPON

Originally from Massachusetts, Greg Tariff currently resides in Silicon Valley as the Senior Manager of Product Design at Groupon. With proven business results, Greg has designed and lead new innovative experiences at companies like eBay Inc., Visa, General Motors, FCB, GREY, and BFG. Additionally, Greg has been a successful entrepreneur having founded and worked for multiple startups including Fetch Labs, Oak Labs (acquired), and Gwazu.

Caroline Wiryadinata

DESIGN MANAGER - OPENTABLE

Born and raised in Indonesia, Caroline spent her teenage years in Singapore before moving to the States for college. She started her career as a print and brand designer before going back to school at CCA, San Francisco, to learn about designing products. Caroline launched her career as a product designer for a wearable tech company and now leads the Consumer Product Design team at OpenTable working on growth, engagement, and revenue initiatives across multiple platforms. She loves designing experiences for two-sided marketplaces as they offer unique challenges — enabling suppliers and customers to interact with one another, balancing the different needs of the business and the users, and creating the network effect.

Alberto Ferreira

UX RESEARCH MANAGER - DNATA TRAVEL

Alberto Ferreira is a UX and globalization services expert with over ten years of experience in user experience on both client and agency side. He has worked on improving the online experience of some of the biggest companies in the world, including Opodo, Sony, BBC, and Mars. He is currently leading cutting-edge research workstreams at dnata, which encompasses brands such as Travel Republic, Emirates Holidays and Netflights. He is the author of Universal UX: Building Multicultural Experience, a book on the specialised practices and implementations of UX across the globe. He was the host and curator of the Localisation Processes Forum at LocWorld for 5 years, before deciding to invest more time as mentor and tutor for young UX students and practitioners. He writes and speaks frequently on topics ranging from Agile to persuasion design.

Sukhada Jog

From an architect to now an experience researcher, the journey from the tangible to the intangible world has been an exciting one for Sukhada. Sukhada Jog is a UX Research Manager at Airbnb where she leads the Airbnb Payments and Trust research teams. Before Airbnb, she was a UX Manager at Yahoo reading research for the Communication space. When not doing research, her favorite activity is to travel, cook and paint with her two beautiful kids.

Kasey Seo

PRODUCT DESIGNER - EXPEDIA GROUP (HOTELS.COM)

Kasey is a product designer and strategist from South Korea, living in London. She currently works at Hotels.com, where she has been a part of the Shopping and APAC teams, as well as leading strategic initiatives through research, storytelling, rapid prototyping, and testing. Kasey has a strong passion for experiment-driven, and cross-cultural product design.

Ashley works in the product design team to deliver industry-leading passenger experiences for rail and coach customers in the UK and Europe. Focussing on the post-purchase experience, Ashley champions thorough customer research and data science to build smarter, faster, simpler travel solutions. Before Trainline, Ashley worked as a design lead on key rail industry products for National Rail, GWR and Deutsche Bahn. He is a proud advocate of the user, and relishes working on Trainline products at the convergence of design, data and rail.

She is currently managing the design teams looking after the landing, post booking, customer loyalty and retention experiences at Hotels.com, an Expedia Group brand. She has been in the UX space for over 10 years working in both the UK and Australia, and is passionate about design thinking driving product strategy, design organisations and team culture.

Stephen has over 12 years experience working in ecommerce. Starting with Coca-Cola in Australia back in 2006, he's now based in London, working for Vaimo's strategy department and helping clients grow with their data-driven approach. Having spent time on both the agency side and the client side, Stephen has a wealth of experience with ecommerce tactics and has worked with clients such as Dyson, L'Oréal, Helly Hansen, Agent Provocateur, Royal Academy of Arts, Slendertone, Fjällräven and Björn Borg.

Christine Lanoy currently heads up Ticketmaster International Design, where she sets strategic and tactical vision for user experience, design, and brand for 20+ enterprise-scale, fan-and client-facing products. Having found design during her stint as a music editor, she brings her passion for live entertainment and fan zeal to help 90M+ unique users across EMEA. Christine helps organisations solve complex problems through elegant and usable day-to-day tools.
