Co-Founder, Biglight

Steve is Co-founder of Biglight, an Experience Design agency that combines the power of UX, Creative, Content, Optimisation and Personalisation to help some of the world's biggest brands create remarkable customer experiences that drive sustainable revenue growth. Biglight's clients include ASDA, Eurostar, Nike, The North Face, Timberland and Vans. From 1999-2004 Steve was at Dixons Group where he held a number of senior roles, before becoming Director of Advertising and Direct Businesses.


Head of UX/UI, IKEA

Shilpi Sinha is the acting Head of UX/UI at IKEA Group Digital, building an in-house team from scratch and evangelizing Experience Design throughout the organisation. Her mission is to enable the innovation and creation of more personal, inspiring and convenient experiences for the many people at a global scale. She started her journey at IKEA as a Management Trainee after some time in Silicon Valley where she worked with start-ups and trendspotting. Prior to her current position, Shilpi supported the CIO with the Group Digital Strategy, laying the ground for the upcoming Transformation. Following this, she was part of building a new Recommendation Engine for IKEA. The successful results from this broke new ground in terms of utilizing AI and Machine Learning to provide a more personalized experience for their customers. With a Bachelor’s in Industrial Design Engineering, Shilpi’s main areas of interest are Design Research and Usability. When those don’t consume all her attention, she enjoys books, documentaries and scrolling through the countless rabbit accounts she follows on social media.

Jackson Wang

VP of Design, L'Oreal

With over 26 years of professional and executive design management knowledge and experience across USA, China and APAC, Jackson is a proven expert in visual communication, cognitive-based design and seamless consumer to user to shopper experience. He has culminated integrative design mastery in FMCG, Fashion, Automotive and Beauty industry; global companies and brands such as Hallmark, Neiman Marcus, Ford Motor Company, Procter & Gamble and L’Oreal. Jackson’s capabilities and achievements are not merely limited to the exercise of visual or style, rather it is an amalgamation of innovative design solutions and resourceful co-creation. Jackson is currently Vice President of Retail Design for L’Oreal, based in New York City.

Ross Arnone

Senior Product Manager, Tesco Labs (Tesco PLC)

Ross is passionate about human centred design, with experience building products in both corporate and start-up environments. He currently works at Tesco Labs, a unique future focused research and development team, managing various products, aimed at designing the future of retail. Most recently launching, “Talk to Tesco” the voice based grocery shopping service available via Google Assistant. He previously worked in education-technology, working across numerous start-ups, creating, launching and scaling products in different global markets.
