Nathan Sellars

Nathan heads up a talented team of UX Managers, Researchers and Designers at RS Components. The team’s focus is to uncover and embed customer insights into each stage of the B2B eCommerce design process, through an ever-evolving range of quantitative and qualitative research methods and a design process that utilises these insights in collaboration with the wider business. Since completing a Psychology degree in the late 90’s Nathan has spent the last 20 years working on a range of digital design projects. During which time he has completed a Masters in Human-Centred Systems and spent many years helping a range of interesting brands improve their user experience. More recently he moved from agency to client side enabling the opportunity to get into the depths of some really interesting design challenges and fascinating customer worlds. He is interested in the creation of new design patterns and the introduction and adoption of user-centred design principles in order to aid a company’s clarity of purpose and each team’s overall drive and effectiveness.

Vanessa returned to the UK in 2015 and jumped into hard core retail with Argos and is now with Marks & Spencer. Vanessa feels retail is one of the most exciting spaces to be in for digital – it is so fast, so responsive, so competitive, that every day there’s something new. You can’t just be a designer, you have to be a persuasive seller, advocate your brand correctly and be a multi-tentacled-tech-aware-multi-tasker to cover everything from stores to wearables.

Vilma is helping people express themselves better, especially through cracking online personalisation! Before Zalando, she worked for US startups Grooveshark (backed by Intel) and Moveline (backed by Techstars), and then moved into the agency world designing for clients such as LG Electronics' Smart TV and Disney.

A senior leader with significant product leadership experience in multi-channel retail, consumer electronics, technology, media and telecoms. Experienced in large scale, consumer-facing digital product development, user experience, and agile transformation. With a passion for customers and end users, past achievements include delivering emerging technologies and innovative customer propositions at Orange / EE, Virgin Media, Sky, Now TV and Sainsbury’s before joining MATCHESFASHION.COM in early 2018. Fabrice grew up in Montréal, lived in the South of France and then studied Journalism in London. He later gained his MBA from Cranfield University. Richard has spent the majority of his career as a designer and design leader in design teams in telco, retail, and financial services brands including Vodafone, Orange, Tesco and RBS. Currently, Richard is a Design Director in the Sainsbury's Digital Experience design team in London, leading a team designing, measuring and iterating the digital customer experiences in store, including Nectar loyalty; mobile scan, shop and pay (SmartShop); and customer self-checkouts.

Natasha is a mobile web specialist at Google working across all industries. She has spent the last five years analyzing and understanding how mobile is changing and turning those learnings into external strategies. Prior to Google, Natasha has spent her career working in the search engine space as well as gaining experience in the agency environment. As the Mobile Performance Lead for the UK, she works with Google's top partners on their mobile web strategy as the digital behavior shifts to a mobile-first world. As Google looks into 2017 and beyond, her focus has shifted to ensuring our top partners make the mobile web work for their business via great UX and speed improvements. With this direction, she is step-changing companies mobile focus to excel and succeed.
